Just Another Song To Sing - Topher [Prod.Topher]
This song is special to me because I wrote the lyrics back when I
was still in school and dealing with some personal problems. I also
produced the beat from scratch around the same time I wrote the song.
I was just recently inspired to put the whole thing together finally,
after months of it just sitting around as an idea. I was listening
to a decent amount of metal at the time I was inspired to finally
make this song, and I decided I would try to incorporate a unique touch
on the production. So I gave my best shot a screaming some vocals.
I’m pretty happy with the final outcome. I’m always having fun
experimenting with new styes and trying new things.
Never Alone - Topher [Prod.RightBeatRaido]
This song was actually supposed to be released with the Side-B mixtape,
but right before the drop I had some second thoughts about it and
decided I didn’t like it much. It has been sitting on my computer since
then doing nothing.. I just recently gave it another chance and decided
that there may be some people out there who really like it, so there’s
no use in it just sitting around being un-heard.
Lie Awake - Topher Feat. Jade [Prod.Topher]
One morning I was sitting in my room with my dads acoustic guitar and my
microphone then decided I was going to try to make a beat. I don’t really
know how to play guitar but I taught myself a little tune that I enjoyed.
I looped the guitar and started adding other sounds on top by sampling
things around my room with my condenser mic. The drums are me tapping my
table, the shakers/rain effect are from spaghetti sticks, the bass
is from me humming, I also do some whistling and other things as well. I had
a lot of fun experimenting with different sounds and effects to produce
the beat. The final beat I was left with was very interesting, so of course
I had to try something new and experimental with the song. I decided to sing
the chorus with some help from my lovely friend Jade. The final song
ended up having a very unique atmosphere to it. Not my usual style,
but once again I really enjoyed myself experimenting.
Water Wings - Topher [Prod.RightBeatRadio]
I wrote this song while washing dishes and doing delivery runs working
at Boston Pizza. I would keep thinking of 4 lines in my head while
doing tasks, and then write them down on my phone until it turned
in to a whole song at the end of my shift. This song holds MANY
different messages and meanings to me within its metaphors.
Blood, Sweat, Tears & Ink - Topher [Prod.Topher]
I wrote the lyrics for this song back when I was still going to school.
I wasn’t sure what to do with the song I had written, so it sat around
for a pretty long time being un-used. Just recently I produced this beat
and realized that the lyrics fit perfect with the production, so I put
it all together and came up with this track.
Feels Like Forever - Topher Feat. Creyn & Break [Prod.RightBeatRaido]
This song speaks about inspiration and the struggle to keep inspired in life.
At times I feel so inspired that it’s hard to keep the music from flowing out me.
At other times I find myself struggling to find inspiration and it can almost
feel forced. This song explains that relationship.
Puff Puff Pass - Topher Feat. Break [Prod.PeonBeats]
This song was written as another track for all the stoners to blaze too, and
have a good laugh. In the song my buddy Break and I tell a story of how
our mornings begin and then at the end of each our verses we end up in
the same place. This song has some pretty good humor too it and I had lots
of fun producing it.
Grab The Feeling - Creyn Feat. Tru-ly & Topher [Prod.Creyn]
My good buddy Creyn produced this beat and asked me if I was down to get
on a project with him and Tru-ly. We put everything together and I am very
happy with the final outcome. This song has a nice blend of styles in it. Props
to Creyn for the production.
